A Comparison Of Achilles And Hector
Achilles and Hector were both great warriors in the Battle Of Troy, but they were very different. Hector was born into royalty while Achilles’s mom was a immortal goddess. Achilles was fighting for his name whereas Hector was fighting for his country. Although, Achilles was killed at the same place where he killed Hector, they died in two different ways. Hector was stabbed in the neck by Achilles and Achilles was killed by an arrow shot by Paris, Hector’s brother. When Achilles killed Hector he allowed Troy twelve days of peace and when Achilles was killed the gods mourned him for seventeen days. They were both legendary fighters; Achilles was the strongest but Hector was more loyal.
