Austin part 2

Day 3 in Austin. We went to a museum and it was all about Texas. Texas, Texas, Texas: there is so many things  to learn about Texas, too much even.  WOW, my mind is filled with things about TEXAS. Oh well, it is cool stuff. We went to a Imax movie about heros of Texas and Wild Texas weather. It was really interesting and so was the rest of the building. Here’s a few pictures. We went home after that and then went in the outdoor pool      Yes I said the pool  WE WENT SWIMMING IN A OUTDOOR POOL IN JANUARY HAHA it was fun. The next day we went home and continued with are life in Abilene.

Austin

I was suppose to  write one thing about Austin and do a blog on it but I couldn’t think of the right one so I am just going to tell you all of them, but a short version.

We arrived in Austin at about 3:30 and dad earlier  found a bike that he wanted to get on the internet. We found the place and we bought it.  Here’s a picture

Specialized P2

After that we found the hotel (well we didn’t have to find it because it was a 28 story 4 star Hilton). Once we got there we unpacked and mom and dad went to get supper.

The next day dad had to go to a conference so we went biking. It wasn’t a good idea because it rained a day or 2 ago so it was muddy. We tried it anyway but we got our bikes muddy and we had to wash them off somehow. We went to a stream near by and washed them off there. Here’s a picture.  We went back to the hotel and dad was still in a conference but in the one before he used 50 Ipod touches so we had to recharge them. When they were done we had a little fun with them. Here’s a picture. We got lunch then dad needed us to help us set up for his next conference. I will tell you more tomorrow. :-D

Biking in Austin

We were driving back to our hotel when we saw a bike park right by the side of the road. Of course we had to go ride it. We went back to get our bikes and the first thing I though when I started to ride. Yuck, mud. It was so muddy. We did ride for a while but It got so anoying that we couldn’t anymore. So we went to clean it of in the river. Here is how we did it.

San Antonio, Houston, Dallas. AAAHHHGGG Somewhere in Texas

Last night we came home from, uh, where did we come from again? Oh yeah, Austin. Dad had a few presentations at Educause that he had to do. He brought with him…… drum roll please, 50 Ipod touches!!!!! He also brought with him a charger that can charge 20 at a time. We stayed at this really fancy hotel that for any extras like internet, water, phone calls, bathrooms. (just kidding) It was crazy. Luckily Educause paid for most of it. :D

Hint to dad. Never let us in the same room with 50 Ipod touches. Because this is what will happen.
