Our MEIBL (Mobile Enhance Inquiry-based Learning) project is the proud winner of a Next Generation Learning Challenges Wave I grant! IDEO is a unique design firm with and even more unique approach. We can learn a lot a from IDEO and pehaps apply some of this to our learning enviroments. Consider the following gems:
- Enlightened trial and error succeeds over the planning of the lone genus.
- Focused chaos
- A boss who demands that ideas are quirky and clash with his own–You have to hire people who don’t listen to you.
- Being playful is of huge importance for being innovative. Fresh ideas come faster in a fun place.
